Joseph, our founder was amused at the opportunities in transportation with the spurt of the tourism industry in Kerala. Luxury holidays and Luxury train travel experiences were in its inception. Pioneer Personalized Holidays was thus born in 1992 right when the need arose. After amassing over 25 years of experience working at the reputed Casino Hotel, Mr. Joseph implemented the same erratic quality in his selection of tour packages, the conduct of vehicles, drivers, and support staff. This ensured that Pioneer offered the best luxury holiday packages guaranteeing complete satisfaction to the client, right from our budding stage.

Our main tour operators office in Kochi was established in 1995. Immediately after, our tour operators began offering the best bespoke tour packages across North India and South India. The personalized culture tour across Kerala was one of the highlights of South Indian tour packages, back in the days. The travel company leaped into handling groups directly by 1999 and set up a highly experienced team of tour operators and professionals offering a wide range of South Indian tour packages. In 2000, Pioneer along with other leading tour operators, collaborated in forming the Kerala Travel Mart Society and went on to handle the ground transportation logistics for the initial three editions of this premier event. Pioneer went on to bag the Kerala State Tourism award in 2006 and the National tourism awards for being the best tour operator in 2011-2012. This was first of the numerous recognitions for Pioneer's excellent tour operator service.
